Bring in the Dark of the Dead and the Colors of Fall

For this months theme: Bring the Dark of the Dead and the Colors of Fall.

Let's take it phrase by phrase now shall we?

"...Dark of the Dead..."

In celebration rather...in memorial of the All Souls day during the 1st and 2nd days of November.Other than that it's also the month of Halloween(well actually it was last month but I'll just make it November). Ahh....Halloween, the ghost stories and silly tantrums. It brings me back to memory lain. Anyway, this years halloween I noticed that there are some articles in the newspaper related to the paranormal. It's the fist time that I noticed this.

Ehem...NEXT!

"...Colors of fall..."

this is one season I don't want to forget- FALL! This s a great season. The weather goes form the Hot Blazing Heat of Summer to the Cool Relaxing Winds of Autumn or Fall. A nice stroll in the area with the slowly changing trees. Soon the park will be filled with the red leaves of trees mixed with some yellow, brown and green. The wind blows the leaves away forming like a gentle storm.

When you mix both elements you add some happiness to the Darkness supposedly filled when a person dies or when visiting the dead. I mean what's to be sad about a loved one's departure to paradise? You will probably be joining that person soon or in time. I understand that we cry during funerals because of sadness that we will miss the already dead. I understand that completely but why not try making a change for once? I always wanted to wear a something red when attending a funeral, if it wasn't for tradition that is. When you think about it....so what? It's just a color. I'm not disrespecting the dead by wearing red. In fact wouldn't it be better to see something bright like red or yellow than plain white that blends with the sun or black that emits a sense of darkness? My point is...why not wear something else during funerals. not just white or black. Surely wearing something with a different color will bring at least some color to the funeral.

(Now I noticed that I went too far from where I planned to end this.)
