Soul Nomad

You guys gotta love games such as Soul Nomad & the world eaters it's very similar to that of the Fire Emblem series. Rated as great or 8.0 in Gamespot.com, you have no worries. It earned it's rating. This game not only test you by it's strategy game style but it also allures you with there many endings- making you want to repeat the game all over again. Other than the game style the magnificent dubbing attracts you as each character's voice portrays exactly the character's personality. The Characters are fun too. They come from a wide range, such as from the foul mouthed Gig until the clueless Danette. The story is also a balance of serious story and fun comedy. The game difficulty ain't bad as well. It's not too hard where you'll get frustrated from the frequent "game over" displaying in your screen nor is it too easy that you'll fall asleep from the lack of challenge.

The story starts when you are asked for your gender. (note: your gender will sometimes affect the dialogs of some conversations as well as some endings) After which, you are asked for your name. This is then where it all starts. You start with fighting Danette, your friend since childhood. This is the portion where the basic battle instructions will be discussed. Next, you and Danette will be called by Lady Layna. There she informs both of you that you will become full warriors. Danette chooses her weapon. As for you... you are given a dark sword. As soon as you take hold a flash of dark light surround you. Gig arrives, sealed inside the sword for 200 years. Lady Leyna fuses you and Gig- both you and Gig will now share one body. He demands that you should give him your body so that he will wreck havoc once again. Either reply, the story goes on. Gig proposes that if you would wish for power he will aid you but after that we will immediately take over your body and you will disappear forever. At some point near here you will be given 2 choices. One choice will lead you to the original walk through. The other choice will lead you to the dark walk through. Were you will experience another story.

Well... that's all for now. I really recommend this game for gamers who would would a nice strategy game and wouldn't mind the cheap 2D graphics. But I guess you would be too hooked to the game to even bother complaining.

History Class

History...I love that subject. I know that some people find it very boring to study about dead people but I for one find it interesting. Knowing how people lived and the experiences they got is what made me interested. I mean... we'll soon be history anyway. Entering High School I found out that every year I will undertake a certain area in History.

During my freshmen year, I took on Philippine History. Not much subjects excited me. We've been repeating the same topic ever since grade school. Anyway, My teacher was fun. A little too fun sadly. Usually he would skip from one topic to another. This gave us difficulty during tests and the quarter exams.

Next was Asian History, this was the best so far. Great teacher, Great Classmates, Great subject!! I would always listen and take note from as soon as the teacher comes in until he comes out. I loved this subject!! Also this was the first time that I got a class where in we never had a lecture for the whole year. Our teacher was great, he would always group us and told us that there will be a certain activity the next meeting. We participated greatly! He loved us and we loved him!!

Sad to say that my sofie year had come to an end, now I'm a Junior. At first I was equally excited for World History as to how I was excited with Asian History. During the first quarter I tried to participate with the teacher but only after about 2 weeks I got bored of the teacher. I hated her lectures. They were always so booked based. The last thing see would do was actually research more on the subject. BUUT NOOOO~~~ we had to do that. So as we sleep, talk and drift to another world of our own, she lectures the lessons which is exactly all from the book. She never answered my questions. All she gives as a reply would be "You research." or "I don't know.". For crying out loud your suppose to know!!!! If you wanted to shift then at least shift to another subject where your actually interested in. Huh...I just hope she doesn't get this message too late.

So anyway, because of this I am slowly losing my interest for the subject- which I do not like.

Results

Just a few days ago, we received our result for the Philippine Occupation Interest Survey(POIS) and Philippine Aptitude Classification Test(PACT). I reviewed my results. It mentioned that for further explanation of the result we have to have a one on one talk with the Guidance Counselor. I am yet to have that talk.

For those who don't know, POIS or the Philippine Occupation Interest Survey is for students to find out the occupation group whose interests are same as the student's.
The result of my POIS was:

Math, Physical Sciences & tech: Moderate
Outdoor: Moderate
Social/Personal: Strong
Business: Low
Administrative: Moderate
Life & health Science: Moderate
Arts & Humanities: Very Strong

I was rather expecting the Math, Physical Science & tech to Reach at least Strong or very strong. I love to learn things involving science, especially biology, and, I have to admit, I like solving problems. That's why when somebody asks me a question or disturb me while I'm in the middle of solving a problem I become very irritated and impatient.

Meanwhile, here comes the result of my PACT- a test given to students to compare their aptitudes with those that are necessary for success in various courses.

Services: Very Low
Agriculture: Very Low
Humanities and Arts: Very Low
Social Sciences, Business and Law: High
Education: High
Trades and Craft: High
Health and Welfare: High
Science: Average

For this one I was rather sad to know the my services was VERY LOW. I wanted to go thru cooking as a side course. Anyway, I never thought that Law would be one of my high points but most especially I never expected EDUCATION. I don't have plans to teach at all. I don't have the patience to teach. Well...I was hoping my science would be high.....guess not.
